Lighting Flames of Faith

for My Son Josh…

  Josh’s dad had 3 strokes in 2016.  I wrote a book about it from the hospital room (see in menu) and have walked in faith the. best I can from the miracles I witnessed in ICU Room #79.  Those days carry me now as I need a miracle again for my kids; for my son Josh.

Last summer I took Josh to the twin peaks at Point Magu in Malibu, I felt a shimmer of hope as we looked out over the ocean together.  In tears, I believed there was a reason God led me here – a moment I’d one day understand.

Years ago I made prayer candles after a store bought candle threatened my dog’s health & then a year after that I began creating the candles in bulk as prayer candles to give out for my mother after doctors gave her 3 months to live.  My dog and I passed out the candles with notes inserted in little gift bags & attached scriptures of God’s promises; asking others to pray for her as God’s word says “Where 2 or more are gathered in his name, He is in our midst.”  She lives today (3 years later).

In 2025 I almost lost my son.

My daughter & I made prayer candles together from her little apartment in Florida and  the next day we received a miracle just hours later.  So I decided to make more prayer candles & to even open a store where others can get them as a fund raiser for a vision of hope for my son & all the kids like him; the fatherless, orphans & widows (James 1:27.

The Children are my Inspiration for the Animal Sanctuary..

An animal healed my heart and I believe God uses pets sent as angels to heal our hearts & love us through our trials.  I have a vision of love for a place where kids like my son can go in times of distress to find refuge, healing, love & new chapters to stories that seemed like they were reaching an end – a house of prayer, miracles & mountains moved by God’s provisions & power to transform us where we need it most – in our hearts.

Please light it and join hearts with me tonight lifting Josh’s name up before God.  Scripture says in Revelation 8:4; “When the prayer of God’s people mixes with the smoke they are lifted to the throne of God by the hands of an angel.”
