Prayer Candles for Josh

  Last summer I took Josh to the twin peaks at Point Magu in Malibu, I felt a shimmer of hope as we looked out over the ocean together.  In tears, I believed there was a reason for that moment I’d one day understand.

Years ago I made prayer candles for my dad when he passed away & then a year after that I began creating the candles in bulk in dedication to a woman who was faced with a terminal illness and given 3 months to live.  My dog and I passed out the candles with notes inserted in little gift bags & attached scriptures of God’s promises; asking others to pray for her as God’s word says “Where 2 or more are gathered in his name, He is in our midst.”  She lives today (3 years later).

In 2025 I almost lost my son.

My heart remains heavy today as I ask God to make a way for me to  give him the help he needs.  God laid it upon my heart to create the candles again; for prayer & also as a way to raise funds for my son’s healing journey.
